Evidence-informed eLearning, built from our experience of programme design and delivery

HMA has been designing and delivering specialist training in domestic, family and sexualised violence intervention since the early 2000s. Our eLearns are developed from the same evidence base that underpins our programme design and in-room training.

WHO ARE WE

Specialist trainers and programme designers

Formed in the mid-1990s around the work of Ken McMaster, HMA (Hall McMaster & Associates Limited) has spent three decades working in stopping violence, criminal justice, and human services across Aotearoa New Zealand and Australia.

Our core work is domestic, family and sexualised violence programme design and training. The eLearns available here are built from the same evidence base and practical experience that underpins our in-room workshops, individual coaching, and programme delivery.

We are committed to social change and passionate about making communities safer and more respectful places, in particular for women and children. That commitment is at the heart of everything we build.

OUR APPROACH

Blended learning adapted and grounded in practice

Our eLearns have always been part of a broader blended learning model, alongside in-room workshops, individual coaching, and on-the-job practice. We have taken the experience and materials to create new, standalone, self-paced resources for practitioners seeking to expand their toolkit and deepen their practice.

Each course draws directly from the training HMA delivers in the field. Purchasing access gives you a self-paced version derived from specialist content, designed to build practical skills you can apply immediately in your work.
